Hence why Men typically have a "sport" they do in each season and not every sport in every season as you can't be the best at everything.
Dance was actully cool to my fellow sport mates. I danced, one played football, another wrestled, another football. We all got along and "dished it out" to others who couldnt keep up in gym sports.
So this being said, and it has been said before. He will be teased. I was teased, my friends are teased, it is about boys becoming men. HEck, I still get teased; my gay friend calls me the fag although I hardly symbolize a bundle of sticks.
Don't sweat it, it is all perception. Heck, in high school I was the only boy who could "Dunk" the basketball (white boys can sometimes jump), thanks to dance and gymnastics.
So what you may find is the ballet may work with your son at other events. Soccer, football, gymnastics, diving, swimming, then it all circles again.
Trust me![/i]
