But young people learn an awful lot<br>awfully early these days, & if I had a son older than 14, I would<br>not tell him to keep away from here. When I was 15, I could handle<br>a good deal--& would have liked to learn more.<p>Nevertheless, for the very young, I would agree that balletalert is<br>a better choice than this forum, especially since I believe they<br>have a special section reserved for young dancers, which can't be<br>accessed without permission. But the newsgroup, alt.arts.ballet,<br>is also a good choice; we have dancers, choreographers, & the<br>occasional critic posting there. And spammers & tasteless posters get harsh treatment.<p>In any case, a young boy who's interested in ballet is a rarity, &<br>his interest should be fostered & encouraged.
