Then what did the Russians (who use it in pictures from the early 1900's) call it? "Preparatione?" I don't doubt that Mr. B. brought it over, but I really believe it pre-dated him (But I'm not sure...what year was he born?), based on old photos I've seen. Even Nijinsky used it.
