[i]As someone who started stretching in my late twenties who was probably the most unflexible person on earth I can offer the following advice for gaining flexibility:
1. Drink LOTS of water - at least a gallon a day. Don't drink it right before class or you'll never make it. Sip on it all day.
2. Stretch twice a day every day for at least 30 minutes. This is above and beyond what you do in class. You will not gain anything if you only stretch in class.[/i]
