Hi Balletboy. The sizes I quoted are British shoe sizes. There has been tremendous controversy here as we by law have to use European Metric measurments for fluids and weights etc. Shoes so far haven't been affected. But I think that our size 9 is different to yours. I can't explain why though. I do know that our old imperial gallon (now illegal) is different to the American gallon. Ours was 8 pints but perhaps your pints are different to ours. However the last pair of trainers (sneakers)I bought were 9 UK, 10 US and I think 40 EUR. So the sizes 7 and 9 I mentioned were to my knowledge British although they could have been American. What I do know is that the continental shoe measurments are unused and totally meaningless in the UK. Phew! I hope that goes someway to answer your question. Bye.[/i]
