[i]>Can someone please explain what is meant by rolling your toes.
>While Sami and Bill answers are good, "rolling your toes" can mean several things: 1) as Sami and Bill stated it is part of doing a correct releve 2) "rolling your toes" can be a very bad thing in that when you are stretching your arch in tendue you grip or roll your toes under which will cause problems ranging from cramps in your arch to improperly extending your foot, 3) "rolling on toes" can also mean not standing correctly with your feet "flat on the ground" or on demi-point, i.e. rolling over the inner or outside edge of the foot, or pronating/sicling on demi-point. It really depends on understanding whe the teacher is making the comment... i.e. "rolling your toes" by itself is not something I would mention in a class unless it was a correction that also had an example such as "don't roll your toes while doing tendue" or "roll through..." etc...
