You know, in many cultures (the one I'm thinking of more specifically was a native american tribe somewhere on North American) it doesn't matter what you pysical are - you are able to pick your gender at a certain age. Men could do women's jobs, and sometimes were quite honoured, just as women did men's jobs, and also were sometimes quite honoured. Most of the time, the women stayed with women, and the men with men, yet it wasn't uncommon, or unacceptable, for the opposite gender to choose against their own. (They weren't all gay either.)[/i]
