[i]pointe is very dangerous is unprepared. i agreed with everything you said up untill the end. just because you can do the splits DOES NOT mean that you can do pointe. flexibility and strength are generally opposites. people who are naturally flexible often have very little strength at first. people with natural strength are generally very tight muscled. if u've got the strength go for it. otherwise you should probly hold off a bit.[/i]
