Appollon....Give it up!!!! by Tights Loving Dancer To clarify: I have COME to love ballet. Such a uniform (colored tights/leotard) INTRODUCED me to ballet. Seeing how PRETTY, yes....L O V E L Y....the costumes were (including the TIGHTS and LEOTARDS) led me to discover a more pronounced or more expressive way to move and then....believe it or not, made me look towards dance. Hey look: some children look at the way clowns are dressed and want to become clowns. Some look at the way cops are dressed and want to become cops. Some look at soldiers and want to become soldiers. Some look at crap and then want to become politicians. I looked at the way ballet dancers looked and, after finally trying on what "they" wear, decided I wanted to be a dancer. I may not become a 'great' dancer, but still, I have come to love dance. The reason that the tights/leotards became a fetish (again, I hate that word), is that the wearing of such by men/boys is still considered taboo. My "tediously long write" was not to admit such a fetish but, rather, state that the attraction to such garb does not necessarily have to do with ONLY acting out a fantasy, sexual or otherwise. And if I remember my post in it's entirety, I did state that the fantasy only posts would be better served by being posted elsewhere. P.S. sorry about another tediously long post.
