the male dancer
written by Ballet Buddy at on 25.10. at 18:06:00 I've been given a combination of eight pique turns, starting upstage left and going diagonally to downstage right. I like doing pique turns. They are fun. The challenge for me is getting the turning leg real straight. Now the problem I'm having doing eight of them in a row, is that the straighter I keep my leg, the more messed up I get in the floor pattern. My diagonal path gets full of curves, and I wind up someplace other than downstage right. I have access to the studio for private practice. Any suggestions for improving my eight pique turns, other than just doing them over and over? Ballet Buddy Answers to this message:
