For some reason my back leg always bends no matter what I do, even tho I'm able to get my front leg up. I'm not worried about height at this point. I just want to get it right.>Second point: I've only been doing ballet for a year now - adult class, and my teachers are pretty good, but don't cater to men at all. Do you know of any resources that will help me achieve a good male technique?>Thanks,>Musicnabber Hey! If I had to make a guess I would say you probably aren;t flexible enough. But of course I coldn't say that for sure. It is possible you have enough strength to push your leg up high, but you don't have enough flexibility to bring it up straight, so it goes up bent. That is the only thing I can think of, but if you are really flexible then I don't know. Answers to this message: |
