The schedule is rough, but I don't hate it.  There are all sorts of positive ways of looking at any situation.  I get to dance. I get paid for it.  I get to introduce ballet to young audiences.  And often the travel is fun.

The other dancers are all pros, and it is everyone's job to get along.  Sometimes there's tension, especially when people get tired, but no one hangs on to hard feelings for very long.  I share a room with another dancer to save on per diam, and he is a great guy who is very considerate.

I only wish this tour were coming your way.  But these particular bookings are confined to the snow belt.  It'd be fun to be in class together; we'd both wear our white tights and blind everybody else.

Joe
