the same situation where i am, I am at the bigger and better studio, but LOTS of people come from the other studio to take ballet, they come just in time for class and leave right after. they dont participate in performances or anything, you should do the same. just go don't tell anyone, and leave. I'd do it.

>ok heres my problem, there are two big studios in my town (with like always lots of bad blood between them), mine and another. the teaching of techinique is much better at our studio than the other one (at least in my opinion) the problem is the other studio has about twice as many people as we do so they have alot more classes including male ballet and pas de duex. so i think that both of those classes would help me out ALOT with getting up to professional par right? but i can only imagine what the people at my studio would say if i "stabbed them in the back" by going to the other studio. so basically how important would you say male ballet classes are to master all those dreadful leaps and pas de deux for improving my chances of going somewhere 1/2 decent? >looking for some outside help cause i dont think that the people at their studios could be subjective if i asked for advise....>~K~
