I was a bit taken back by his nonchalance. I mean, he just hiked up his tights, dug his hands in an viola, it was all over. He never looked like he gave it a second thought. The entire time he was talking to another guy at the barre. None of the women in class acted as if they noticed or even cared. I think the only reason I noticed was because I'm still fairly new to ballet, so the whole thing kind of caught me off guard. I have not had the need or chance to, well, rearrange during class, but I have had to pull up the old tights a lot. Like you, I like them to show off the hard work I'm putting in (and things are shaping up rather nicely, thank you). No one seems to pay any attention to that, and I find myself doing it without thinking. Now, ask me about the recently acquired, shocking blonde hair and the reaction I got to that today. That's a different story all together. My teacher kept looking at me like I was from outer space. It was very funny. Answers to this message: |
