It seems to me that this has been blown way out proportion. Nowdays as sad as it is "gay" it used as a derogatory adjective for just about anything, i hear it all the time maybe in a moment of anger (which it seems like kyle was in) he just had a slip of the toungue, or fingers so to speak. Further more I'm from a backwoods kind of town and i just hate to see people on the slightest thing get up on their soapboxes. To me and granted i'm straight sexuality is just who you love and has nothing to do anything else, namely it has nothing to do with dance, so if anyone had a problem with what kyle said why didn't you contact him personally instead of dragging him out into the spotlight and cornering him. that apparently wasn't a good idea since he no longer felt welcome and got mad and left. i'll go ahead and tell you that i know kyle personally we danced together before he went off to college. you guys dont know what you lost hes one of the few great guys left in the world and a smart and great dancer, not to mention the most dedicated i've ever known, he could have helped lots of people from this site...>PS i have been dancing for not quite 10 yrs now and i will tell you the i think that dance is one of the homophobic free activities i know of, no matter what city your in>just my input and defense of a good friend>Adam Answers to this message: |
