the male dancer
written by J. Bernstein at on 27.05. at 04:02:25 - as answer to: dancingdoc died today by balletboy at I would like to clarify this position. Your Dancing Doc had a brain hemorrhage on Friday morning, 25th May 2001. He was in the company of his long-time companion, Dr. Smith, also a physician. He was stabilized and flown to the family's medical clinic in New York. As of Saturday evening, he is in a coma but in critical condition. HE IS NOT DEAD. They are planning surgery for Sunday morning, to relieve the pressure on his brain. Dr. Smith will supervise the operation. We are all hopeful that he will survive this surgery. There have been rumors; however, the family has asked that I contact persons the he had contact with to provide them with accurate information. There has been a rumor that we've packed up his apartement and moved things out. We have only moved things pertinent to his business, and have sent them to his corporation, for an orderly transaction of that business. I have been charged with addressing these problems, and will be happy to correpond with any friends who call or email. I have access to his accounts, and will be setting up an email site to answer questions. I have know this man for many years, as a memeber of his acounting team, and set up his program to provide $20 million of his own money, starting in 1998 through 2005, for the support of the dance community. He has been a great philanthropist for the dance community. I will personally correspond with those of you he has in his email address book, and will post updates on his favorite sites. I hope this clarifies any questions you might have. J. Bernstein >I'm really sorry to post this message.>I had a call today. I had a friendship with dancing doc.
