I wash mine in the washing machine (warm, not hot water, gentlecycle) but line-dry them. (In my case, the "line" is a hangerdangling from the shower rod in the bathroom.) The machinehappens to leave them dry enough that overnight is long enoughfor them to dry, even in damp summer weather. The belts aremostly cotton/lycra. Before using the machine, I hand washedthem and rolled them in a towel, as Dr Dancebelt suggests. Hope this helps. Tom
