 the male dancer
written by JT at on 15.12. at 12:49:20 - as answer to: Is becoming a male dancer, an act of courage? by When you have a group of your little sisters friends at your house, and they are watching a sitcom and one of them says, "Like, aren't all male dancers so gay and want to be women?" And all of your sisters and the rest of the gaggle answer, "yeah, like, that is so gay when guys dance ballet," I think it becomes a courageous act. I am not gay, and they don't know I dance, but just knowing what they would think if they found out makes it kinda bold. Of course, they don't know. Is that really courageous that I haven't told them? You be the judge but remember that one day you'll be judged by your own standards of judgment. Answers to this message:
