>I take Ballet 1 now, I wear black leotard with white tights and a black tee shirt. I really like my class but two things, my tee shirt is hot to wear and I have to keep pulling it down. I tried shorts but they are too binding and hot. I would like to stay cover up. I bought a 12" wrap skirt and it covers up fine been wearing it around the house to get use to it and it didn't take long. Would girls feel defended of myself wearing a skirt into class. Most of the girls wear a skirt and they seems to be comfortable with the skirt. It's m

ore free to wear dance around inside the house. Is this a bad idea for a male

ballet dancer?

You have a rather different idea on how to stay covered up.Ballet has a rather strict dress code enforced for many years.I would suggest that you could cut the neck and sleeves areas out.You could stay cool and be covered up.Keep Dancing!John
