the male dancer
written by SanFranDanseur at on 12.04. at 04:56:26 - as answer to: pretentious...moi ? by grouco at If you are ever in San Francisco, I'd be happy to invite you to one of my public performances. Right now I am working on two shows with professional companies. In fact - Here's a link for one... http://www.peninsulaballet.org/ If you're so negative about ballet and men taking dance, how did you find this forum? Do you honestly have nothing better to do than search for places on the interent where you can spew your negative views. Also - DANSEUR is the french term for a dancer who is male... Danseuse is the female form. Ballet was developed in France, mainly under the sponsorship of King Louis (Sun King, forget his number... maybe Louis XI?). This is why most terms in ballet are french (You used a french word yourself - Jete). Danceur just looks more professional. I am a dancer, and a Danseur. Since you did not know this, you are obviously a not very tallented ballet dancer yourself, or maybe even a fake ballet danceur obsessed with your bulge. Answers to this message: |
