You can get everything you need at the drugstore down the street. First, get the ladies to show you how to do make-up --- how to think about the colorations and shapes of your face, what you want to bring out, etc. Make-up is so individual, I can't say "here's how you need to do it" without seeing your face. You have to experiement. There are PLENTY of web sites out there telling you about make-up in general. Then, you can "adjust" it to a more theatrical version. Things are exaggerated since you'll be seen from far away. For example, we often draw the eyeliner bigger than the eye --- to make it look bigger. You also need to gain experience about the lighting --- make-up looks different under different kinds of light. It takes practice... Answers to this message: |
