Make-up is make-up, whether theatrical or "street".  You can get everything you need at the drugstore down the street.

First, get the ladies to show you how to do make-up --- how to think about the colorations and shapes of your face, what you want to bring out, etc.  Make-up is so individual, I can't say "here's how you need to do it" without seeing your face.  You have to experiement.  There are PLENTY of web sites out there telling you about make-up in general.

Then, you can "adjust" it to a more theatrical version.  Things are exaggerated since you'll be seen from far away.  For example, we often draw the eyeliner bigger than the eye --- to make it look bigger.  You also need to gain experience about the lighting --- make-up looks different under different kinds of light.

It takes practice...
