written by                on 26.06. at 18:28:45To whom it may concern I am currently in Grd 12 and for my drama prac project i've decided to costume a ballet that consists only of men. I have been dancing for 13years and I feel that ballet is often only associated with women in tight tuttus and point shoes. I feel that the male dancer's role in ballet is often very undermined and more focus should be put on a male dancer, because without them ballet wouldn't exist. I would greatly appreciate your opinion on this proposal and some suggestions as to what ballets I could possibly contemplate on costuming would be gladly accepted.
