A Question To ALL The Balletboy's

written by Todd at  on 21.10. at 22:14:20
Hi Guys.  In my view there is only one balletboy and he's the one who actually gives advice.  I am yet to see intelligent and comprehensive answers from the other so called bb's. Claims of pomposity are, I'm sure the result of jealousy.  Here we have an individual who has a wealth of experience and knowledge which he gladly shares with the rest of us.

And so to my question(s).  If I could ask that only the balletboy's respond to this.  It concerns lifting or specifically carrying a ballerina above your head.  What type of training is required to safely and successfully carry your partner this way.  Is it similar in technique to weight lifters in so much as once she's up there it's the legs that do all the work.  Or is it in the arms?  If so, why do you not have upper bodies like Olympic gymnasts.  I will be fascinated to read your responses and I think it will become apparent who the real balletboy is from the quality of the answers.

Many thanks,

           Todd.
