I was enrolled in boys' gymnastics at about 5. It was a miracle when my gym teacher suggested to my mom about taking up ballet. I loved it ever since and aspired to become a professional ballet dancer. My father was against it, and he never attends any of my recitals, but my mom supported my aspirations. I agree with the posted comments entirely. Let your son explore, if he likes it when he grows older, so be it. If not, go for what he like at his age, please don't pressure him as there are enough peer pressure, especialy in ballet, let him be and support him when he grows up. Be his backbone, rather than his director, this way, I hope and think he will gradually become mature enough to know and work on what he really wants to be.Maybe he will become an engineer (which is also good) instead of a ballet dancer, just give him the chance to explore WITHOUT PRESSURE and SUPPORT him.Sami Answers to this message:
