The different training is to get better at the things each gender will be expected to do on stage. However, it is becoming increasingly apparent as ballet develops that good technique is good technique. There are very few things taught in men's class that ladies cannot also benefit from --- and very few things in pointe class that men cannot benefit from. Answers to this message:
