>I'm fairly new, I have been learning ballet for Musical Dramas I have been in for the past 4 years or so, but it has only been within the last 3 months that I have actually had any sort of formal training in class, but I know that I cannot stop now. My teacher is blown away by how advanced I am, I've walked toe to heel my whole life and have always had my feet pointed out. On my grand battements, my foot comes  past my nose in height, but I just need to get more elevation and it is also very difficult for me to do more than 2 pirouettes at a time, all of this must change, but I have been doing leg excercises that have strengthened me alot, I've already added 5in to the vertical. and in response to the other persons response, Perhaps the Panhandle isn't accepting, but within a Year I will be Starting at the University of North Texas.

DF, I suggest you also try www.balletalert.com and www.danceart.com.  I believe that both of these have moderated forums for male teens.  You can also check out www.criticaldance.com, which may have the same thing, I'm not sure.
