So the guys in the class may be gay.  Don't worry about it!  In my experience, guys in class are there to take class, not cruise for boyfriends.

So you might make friends with some gay guy.  Most gay guys realize that you need a willing partner for extracurricular activities.  I'm sure you'll make a friendship based on your interest in ballet, not the extracurricular stuff.

OK.  I'm gay.  Amd I have met many other gay guys in classes (as well as straight guys), and we develop friendships based on our interest in dance, not the fact that we were gay.

Let me tell you another experience of mine over many years of ballet classes.  I often run into straight guys, especially guys who are taking class with their wives.  They are mostly concerned with the class, not socializing.  Many of the wives are very social besides interested in dance.  So go figure!

You're all there to take the class; what you do and who you are outside of class just doesn't matter.
