It's something I'm considering but I'd really like to know what the sensation is like. What do you feel when dancing on pointe compared to the conventinal way for men.>Thanks. I never thought that I could ever get "En Pointe". After years of taking ballet lessons, I finally found a great female teacher who agreed to give me a try at pointe work. Empira's right. It is like learning ballet all over again. It helps you to understand what the girls in ballet go through to. It took me quite a while to get used to the odd looks and giggles from the girls in my poiinte classes, but now I'm quite good at pointe work and the girls now accept me, which makes it a lot easier. I'd advise any guy with at least 5 years of ballet training to give pointe a try. Much like wearing tights, it's not just for the girls!!! Answers to this message: |
