I have taken tap dance for the longest time and am highly involved in musical theater. I tried my first ballet class last month with some friends. It was so hard, but extrmely intruiging. I was wondering if 15 was too old to start in order to do ballet as a career if I start out taking 3 one and a half hour classes per week. Thanks a bunch! For a male, 15 may not be too old to start. Sure, go ahead and takethose 3 classes a week. But after a few months, you should have aconference with your teacher, who (if he is any good) should bythen have a pretty good idea of what your chances might be andcertainly a better idea than any of us here could have. But if hegives you the green light, don't be surprised if you start havingto take 5 or more classes per week. Ballet demands more, more, more, and always more. Tom Parsons Answers to this message:
