written by Becky at on 22.11. at 12:02:55 - as answer to: Dancing classical ballet wearing a wig - impossible for men ? by Bernd I don't do ballet myself, but i love watching it, I think it's acceptable for a male dancer to wear a wig if you want to, I've seen a couple of profesional who are going bald i've also seen one who was completly bald. Either way losing hair won't affect the way you dance. :) I've seen dancers from the ENB (English Nationl Ballet ware wigs and odd looking hair pieces) I don't see why it wouldn't be acceptable.
