Male Ballet Dancers

Hi, are there any male dancers in here that would ever consider taking pointe to see what their partner has to go through on daily basis in rehearsal? Well i do, and doing point is hell if you dont have the right things needed. I mean, the hard part is just finding a shoe to fit you. The 2nd hardest part is breaking them in. You will break a sweat by breaking in pointe shoes. 3rd hardest is actually doing a full performance on pointe. Now if you dont have any kind og protection such as toe pads and lamb wool, you are basically screwed because nothing hurts more than being on pointe without any toe pads or any kind of toe supports. And I think that there could be benefits for the male dancer to take pointe because it can build their ankle and leg muscles. Doing pointe has been quite interesting, but i have been taking a break right now because my 2 big toes received some sores on my feet and pointe is now very painful, unless i wrap some adhesive tape around my big toes. But anyway, I just wanted to know if I was the only one out there doing pointe. BYE.
