Shue, when I asked my mom for lessons, she laughed and said it's for girls, I said boys take it too. She thought I'd lose interest especially when I got teased by other boys in school. I stuck to it and am dancing with a scholarship.Another way about is to take tap lessons first and ask the ballet teacher if you can try out in a class of your age.
