The Trials of an aspiring Dancer

written by Roger  on 31.07. at 00:49:36
Okay so I am a late starter (well, late compared to all of these other guys...'I started classes when I was five') I started at the age of 15 lyrical, jazz, and ballet.  I have also taken quite a few ballroom but it isn't the problem.

I am afraid of (with my starting as late as I have) where I should go with this.  I have a great performing presence (I am a singer and actor so they have some positive transfer) but I am not nearly as flexable as some of the girls in my class.  Which is another thing, I am taking lessons in a rural community by a lady that lives right next to me, so these are not hardcore lessons.

I really love dance and I have a pretty good knack at it, but I am afriad to just not go to college to be like a teacher and go to a dance acadamy only to be graduated and without a job.

Most of all, what is the next step?  Any insight would be welcome!!

~Roger
