Re: Does Ballet Training Make Boys Feminine?

I am gay since I don't know when, but after watching The Nutcracker, I know I need to be in ballet. Ballet didn't made me gay, but I found my home in dance class, with few boys like me, in tights and not afraid to show my hard asset and be very effeminate and be with them! But boys in dance are not NECESSARY gays; In America, I found out there are as many straight and bi-sexual dancers as gay ones; Which is different from where I came from, in Asia, I have to be out of the closet, where ballet is the only outlet for gay and very effeminate boys like me to come out openly. At home, I treasured the opportunity to be the only boy to perform in front of the audience, and my classmates, that I can DANCE, that I don't care about the teasing. So to answer your question, ballet in US (DOES NOT) make a boy to be more or very feminine if he wants to, you can train in ballet to be what you want to be!If you are effeminate and a fairy, I am sure you'll find some boys just like you.If you are very masculine, I am sure you will be appreciated with ticket sales. 20 years ago, both East and West, all boys in ballet were gay, but now, I bet less way than half, boys are into different dance styles - hip-hop - modern - experimental with other media - well, not classical ballet!Ballet do not really make you become gay, it only make you realize whether you are one or not, but what is the question? You want to be a dancer, and through your dancing to the audience, and when they really appreciate that, isn't that the ultimate orgasm no matter whether you are a boy or a girl?
