Let me know...>Mike: If you are fortunate enough to reside within manageable kliks from Pasadena,I would recommend "Le Studio". The curriculum has included classes designed specifically for the male dancer. In fact, when I was looking for a studio that provided quality instruction, one of the (male) instructors cautioned me that the standard uniform-regardless of gender-was...but of course! Leo's and tights! As if THAT would give me pause! Please note: Forewarned is forearmed;do not glide into class expecting an erotically charged,nylon/spandex veiled brothel. The ballet studio is a realm unto itself,a cross-pollinated boxing gym/convent. Respect your fellow dancers as well as the art. Be wary of apochryphal stories in which tights clad studs, fully erect, wander the studio space like stallions in heat, hungrily pawing at (willing)pointe shoe shod sylphs lusting for a spandex encased thrust. Most of those tales are absolute nonsense;clowns who act in such a manner are quickly winnowed out. Act pleasant, refined and you may very well discover a joy unfound.E-mail me if you have any further questions.I am a southern California..."Dancerintights" Answers to this message:
