We gotta get you out in public just wearing tights...no jeans...no trousers!>Why can't you go out dressed in tights, sneakers and a sweat shirt? That works for me when I'm shopping.>If you're going to a club, why not try a kilt with tights? It's a hot look!>Or how about just walking the dog in tights (you in tights, not the puppy). Walking a dog in the park while wearing tights gives a reason for interested people to come up to you and talk...."Hey that's a real cute dog...what's her name...gee you look hot in those tights!" It works for me!>Time to come out...tights in public! BalletMaster>>>Thanks, B-Master! Yeah, I've definitely been heading in that direction for a while now (I can be a bit of an exhibitionist). The only things holding me back right now are: 1-Gotta think in terms of how this affects my girlfriend (she doesn't want me making any big moves on this, and I have to respect that-we're both in situations that could get unpleasant if things backfire-she's got kids, we've both got fairly stodgy jobs...), and 2-I want to find the best, most supportive situation to get into with this, a more unusual club or something (maybe a rave, but both Depona and I are a bit long in the tooth for that scene, honestly). Thanks as usual for your mega-sharp insight and encouragement! I'll of course let y'all know what happens, probably the day after it happens!-DeponP.S. I used to wear runners tights in public constantly (part of expressing my new-found freedom after moving cross-country from the ol' homestead, I think) and the results varied-I might've written about some of them here before (one of the few times I managed to pick up a girl at a party I happened to be wearing silver Asics tights-it was at my house-we had a great time, but she never told me if she liked 'em or not!)P.P.S. Tights and a KILT? That's a major-league cool idea! The ol' gears are gonna be spinning on that one... Answers to this message: |
