Downside: expensive (it's from Japan), heavy on rape scenes, impossible to read (unless you know how to read katakana & hiragana). Upside: This guy is definitely one of us! Michiyo and other female characters are almost NEVER seem without leos and tights on, and Matsumoto goes out of his way to create a beautiful wardrobe for them. Superb shading work (it's BW,) really puts a sock (or a pair of hose) in the art. Hard to get (ISBN4-88672-913-4) but worth the search! Quite the growler!>>>>3-TALES TO ASTONISH (Peter David & John Estes-Marvel comics): A great read (Peter David is one of the best superhero-comic writers in life,) but the star is the fully-painted art by John Estes, particularly his rendition of the perennial boy-crazy superheroine, the Wasp. Loving detail on the character's tights-clad legs and feet (she starts the story in a red leo and blue tights, then switches to this white footed unitard with gartered black stirrup legwarmers-ouch!>>>>Still pawing through the collection! More to come!-Depon-- I swear that many of these comic artists must have a tights related fetish. To go to such awesome detail... *sigh*. I envy their talent (I myself am an artist, but work too much to spent time honing my skill).I have an old comic book somewhere that features this superheroine in a lavender unitard (small wonder I notice, eh?), and a traditional Zoro like black mask. I somehow managed to get a small 5" figurine of her as well. I'll have to dig through my stuff and report on who she is. Oh yeh, right after the holidays, quite a few stores had 70% off sales going on for Christmas stuff. Including Hallmark. Now, some of you may be aware of this, that Hallmark did an ornament of Seven Of Nine this year. VERY nice replica of our unitard clad Borg lady. Well, at Kohl's the Hallmark stuff was 90% off. I got her for less than $2! There were a few more copies left that I would have snatched, but my girlfriend at the time would have given me odd looks. I should have pushed on and got them anyway. Because when I returned a few days later, poof--they were gone. Anyway, she's decked out in this blue two-tone glitter unitard that is absolutely amazing. I'll have to create a Star Trek exhibit somewhere in my apartment, so I don't have to wait until Christmas to show her off. ;-) ~Seamless~ Answers to this message:
