Balletlover - Balletmania
written by Tom on 20.04. at 23:12:44 - as answer to: 9 Days in KC Pt. 1 by Seeker at ward to the conclusion. Two things that struck me right off: First, obviously the best choice would have been taking balletclasses, which would have been much less embarrasssing than theexposure & would probably have made you a ballet addict, whichis a terrific gift for anyone. But, of course, in your place, atthat age, I would have done exactly what you did. Wild horses--no, not even all of the Anheuser-Busch clydesdales--couldn't havedragged me into a ballet class then. If youth only knew... Second, "It's always bad when Mother calls something a learningexperience." How true! It's always bad when almost anybodycalls almost anything that. Life is actually full of reallywonderful learning experiences, you know--but nobody ever calls*those* things "learning experiences"! Tom Answers to this message:
