--Each person has their own reaction to this kind of thing.  It's all based on how open minded we are.  One girl might be really threatened by it ("Oh no, he's a latent homosexual", "he probably likes tights more than sex with a woman", "what if he becomes obsessed and starts wearing more women's clothes?"), while another might think it's cute.

The only issue you'll have is with a girl who is threatened.  Then you have to determine to what level it might be.  If you are sure you'll get a strong negative reaction, then it might be a sign that this girl isn't for you.  If you think there's a chance there will be a slight negative reaction, then there may be an opportunity to handle this in a way that will work.

The first and foremost thing is getting a "reading".  Are you athletic?  Do you run?  Get a pair of men's running tights.  Sport yourself around in them and see how she reacts.  After a few times, ask her what she thinks of the look--is she attracted or feels weird?  If you get a positive response then look at two possibilities:  start a campaign of exploring her reactions to men in tights (take her to a ballet; offer a Halloween idea of the both of you dressed as ballet partners), or, come right out with it--"You might think this is funny, but, I actually like wearing tights.  Something about the stretching feeling all over.  It's... it's kind of a turn-on for me."  And go from there.

It's very situational.  You'll have to come up with your own strategy on dealing with this.  But take your time.  There is no rush.  ESPECIALLY if you have very strong feelings for her.  Good luck!
