If you look at this board, The Ballet Shop, the postings are few and far between as far as dates go.  I don't believe many people read this board, let alone have responses to a question that's kind of involved.

If you look on the Dancewear Dreams board, Melissa wrote a message on 10/28/00.  She too is a pre-op transsexual.  She first got a nasty response from some guys named Petey.  I wrote her a heart-felt response.  Please take a look at that.

As I said to her, I have to be honest.  There's not much understanding in the world for pre-op transsexuals, and post-op transsexuals face problems with being accepted.  I've had experience with transsexuals, so it's no big deal with me, but other people don't have much of a chance to understand about the complexities involved. (Hell, was I being polite?  Most people are a**holes!)

Are you in a city where there's more tolerance? I suggested various approaches for Melissa.  They will also apply to you.  Please read that message.

I'm sorry that you didn't get a response on this board. You do deserve a response to what is a legitimate question.  E-mail me if you have more concerns.
