You can still pas-de-deux at 125-150, I dance with women around that weight all the time. Just please realize that ast 125-150 you aren't likely to do any full over-the-head lifts etc. It isn't that you're too large, it's that most men just aren't strong enough. We aren't weight lifters. But, yes, you will be capable of performing most pas-de-deux techniques, etc. Pas-de-deux work often doesn't occur for beginners, however if your instructor gives the a-okay then that's great. >2) Lots of ballerinas have what is considered large feet. Pointe shoes in that size exist, but will be very ahrd to find. If local dance shops don't have them, check online. Men do pointe on VERY RARE ocassions as well.>3) I can't speak for everyone, but it is really a matter of a parent's personal values. There is a possiblity that parents won't be comfortable with their children being in the same class as you. I'm not saying they will, but let's face it, some people just don't agree with transexuality. If you ahven't gone through the surgery yet I'm sure that it would seem inapropriate for you to change with the girls. Whether people complain or not is really up to fate, but ifd you want to dance, go for it. Fellow dancers may or may not complain about you dancing as as female. That's just the way some people are. The odds are really good people will be able to tell you were male when you are in tights, though. Once again, I don't want to discourage you. I am just trying to inform you. Good luck.
