Depends on the school & the teacher, &on the type of class. Classes for adult non-professionals tend tohave looser codes, or none at all. For example, I wear black tightsmost of the time, but also occasionally gray, navy blue, lightblue, & even (on special occasions like Hallowe'en) red. Nobodyblinks an eye. And Diana Byers, a New York teacher, wants her menin gray or white tights so she can see more clearly how they'removing. Similarly, white shoes show more clearly what your feet aredoing. But in general, if you're known to be a hard worker & totake the work seriously, you can frequently have a fair amount ofleeway in what you wear, within reason.
