>Hi. I have been dancing for 11 years now and I am 15 years old. Not until this year (about a weak ago) did they make a very advanced class for just about 9 of us. Anyway, with that comes another contract we have to sign and on the contract it says I have to wear" a white form fitting t shirt, black bike shorts or form-fitting jazz pants, plus other things. I have always worn a white t-shirt and black sweat pants which I am fine with. The problems I have is that I don't like tight clothing, because I don't like being confined (in any way), and the clothes are showing off stuff I'd rahter not show. With the form fitting t-shirt, it's like an unwritten rule that you shouldn't wear them unless you have like muscles to show off which I definately don't. I'm almost as skinny as you can get. Next, with the biker shorts. I don't even wanna go there because those are realllly small. And then with the form-fitting jazz pants, those are just tight and I don't care to wear them. My dilemma is that I want to continue dancing in this class, but I don't like the attire. What should I do?>PS. Like I said, I am only 15 (only guy in the dance school) and I am friends with all the girls that are around my grade level that dance there. With the tight clothing it's like, "Hey! Look at my crotch!"

certainly less revealing than what a swimmer wears, no? or wrestler? football players these days where 'tights' cutt off at the knees. Cylistst too.

Dance is like sport you have wear performance clothing. Many people would envy your position, but don't thing about it just concentrate on dance not The 'uniform'
