I can only guess that they call them footed leggings for those guys (and girls!!) who refuse to admit that they wear TIGHTS!!!! Oh my God... TIGHTS??? I wouldn't be caught dead in TIGHTS!!! It is a mystery to me (as much as the tights vs leggings thing) as to why Baltogs isn't more widely available. They don't even have a web site that I know of.
