the male dancer
written by BalletMaster at on 20.03. at 20:57:18 - as answer to: pirouettes by Davy I have two additional suggestions: (1) the plie/preparation is important; and, (2) when you rise, it's important that the standing leg is straight (don't let the knee buckle or loosen), and make sure you have shifted your center over to a stable position on the standing leg. You can practice these things at the barre, without turning. Good Luck! BalletMaster >I realize I am a relative beginner, but I am having difficulty doing mutiple pirouettes. I know it's practice, practice, practice, and I am spotting, but are there any tips I should be aware of that may have eluded me? Answers to this message:
