the male dancer
written by balletboy on 23.05. at 03:36:02 - as answer to: Getting "Excited" about ballet by Willie at What do you go to classes for...watching others or working on ballet and your technique. Classes are the place to focus on your ballet technique, not the "arousing" girls (or guys, my preference). Do you focus on your penis and how it's aroused, or the demands of the class? I don't think once about sex, only my ballet technique. Do you focus on the sensuality of tights, or what the teacher is saying? Classes are for dance, not to arouse sexual feelings. If you can't focus on the class, you have to consider what is more important. There is a sensuality to ballet, but that's for stage performances, NOT for the times, in classes, when you are supposed to be doing barre and center-floor exercises. Believe me, I understand being aroused by sexy dancers (whether male for me or female for you), but classes are not the place for it, and I know I will not progress in a class if my tongue is hanging out for my class-mates. Do you want to go to class the be aroused or to learn ballet? I go because I want to learn and progress in ballet. The more my attention is diverted, the less I progress. If you only went to classes at the insistance of your girlfriend, do you really want to learn? Maybe that's why you're focusing on matters other than the class. My advice: get out if you don't want to learn and cannot focus on the class. The passion for dance class should not be passion for the dancers in class! balletboy Answers to this message:
