the male dancer
written by Dr. Dancebelt on 02.06. at 16:02:08 - as answer to: What happened to the forum for serious dancers? by Boldstorm When the dust has cleared from that article - do it again, and again, and again. Other "serious dancers" will respond and soon, the board will be filled with content you like. The frequent dance belt posts on this and other message boards tell me that many dance newbies have legitimate questions about male dancewear, so I took it upon myself to answer them in the form of "ask Dr. Dancebelt." Dr. D. recognizes that some of these questions are fetishistic and tries to avoid feeding into someone's sexual fantasy. (Just the facts, man, just the facts) For awhile others tried to guide off-color writers to other PARSIMONY boards more attuned to less than "serious dancers", but with little success. Once posted here, a message sticks permanently, permanently adding to the tone of the site. The people who call each other names and slander their sexual preference are NOT shaping this board in a way that I find terribly interesting. Why the attack on the moderator of DANCEART, while ignoring the basic problem with all the PARSIMONY boards, which is that literally ANYTHING goes? David, the danceart moderator at least has basic guidelines and eliminates questionable material, perhaps excessively leading to accusations of censorship. At the present time, this is not a site I would recommend to either a minor or anyone who's highly sensitive. Fortunately, Danceart, Ballet Alert, Critical Dance, and Voice of Dance offer a PG Rated alternative. Answers to this message: |
