Umpteen years ago I was taking classes with David Howard in NYC.  Baryshnikov was a regular there, either to take classes or waiting for private coaching. Markarova was also a regular.

Nobody really spoke to him!  He didn't say much.  Once he borrowed my towel to wipe off some sweat, and immediately afterwards about five guys were bidding for it!

Those were the days!  I'm glad to hear that danseurs today are still able to experience the thrill of seeing that the greatest danseurs are just classmates too!

Please, if he gets sweaty, offer him your towel!
