the male dancer

I wasn't sure about...... by balletboy Even when I hold my leg out in front of me with a straight leg, and turn out flexed i have a 90 degree angle. Every body is built differently with different abilities. Nijinsky doesn't have my body, and I don't have his. It may be hard for many people to even turn out to 180, but I can easily. I can take pictures with a digital camera if you would like. I assure you I am not damaging or stressing my knees. My teachers are former principal dancers with Nederlander, Bolshoi, and SFB - both holding college degrees in anatomy. With my years with them and with other teachers I have never once been told that i am stressing my knees, even during private lessons. Anyway, the post was aksing if there are alternative to stretching as I can push my feet up against a wall in the "frog" position and lift up my back without feeling a stretch in the groin area.
