written by julie at on 10.07. at 07:39:41 - as answer to: my son wants to learn ballet by sarah >My son who is 12 is interested in learning ballet.Whilst I am keen to encourage him in an interest in the arts ,I am concerned in case he is teased and picked on at school if his school friends find out he attends ballet classes.The ballet class he hopes to attend has a strict policy that boys aswell as girls must wear tights to class.Again whilst I have no issues with my son wearing tights I'm worried about him being ridiculed and teased .Anyone with similar concerns or past experience of these issues?
